Putting neighbor first, always.

Katherine Brown, friend and former colleague at Colton-Pierrepont Central School. "Ginger cares about the people of the North Country. To her, a "neighbor" is not an abstract concept. Rather, a neighbor is someone to really know and appreciate. My family was very grateful that she gave so much love and attention to our grandmother for over ten years. During those years, Ginger visited United Helpers Assisted Living in Canton every week, taking Grandma outside for literally hundreds of walks, engaging in spirited conversation, and just being a loving presence. And our grandma was not the only elder Ginger took under her wing. Ginger treats everyone with true respect and kindness and quietly goes about the business of making the North Country a better place."

Scott Boyce, former 4th grade student at Colton-Pierrepont "As a former student of Ginger’s, I can recall her laying out clear classroom expectations and holding us to them. And not just turning in homework or following instructions but treating everyone around us with respect. She went beyond her obligations as a teacher to ensure we developed both as students and as people. Twenty years later Ginger continues to go beyond her obligations to give back to her community. She has a strong internal drive that keeps her working to make every place she’s a part of better, and this undoubtedly would include District 7 in her role as County Legislature."

Melinda Miller, Colton-Pierrepont Central School Library Media Specialist, retired "I’m proud to support Ginger for County Legislator for District 7. I’ve known her for over 40 years and worked alongside her for about 35 of those years at Colton-Pierrepont Central School—she even taught my children. Ginger is caring, fair, and a good listener who approaches problems thoughtfully and with integrity. She has always wanted to make a difference, and I know she will serve our county with honesty, dedication, and good judgement."

Ron and Sharon Gotham, retired Colton-Pierrepont teachers "Ginger Storey-Welch is one of the hardest working, compassionate, frugal, honest and fair individuals, whom we had the privilege of calling a friend and colleague for more than forty years. Ginger will put constituent needs first. And by constituents, we mean members of any political party, religion, ethnic or socioeconomic group. She will address issues with research based on facts, moral courage, and common sense. Ginger will always speak truth to power. Please give her your support for District 7 County Legislator."

Linda Caamaño | Former | Volunteer Manager Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley "I worked as the Volunteer Manager at Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley from 2016-2020. During that time, Ginger Storey-Welch was one of my most valuable and reliable volunteers. She was always willing to take an assignment if at all possible, and brought a beautiful, calming and truly caring energy to every client she visited. Ginger received the New Volunteer of the Year award at our Volunteer Recognition event and was someone I knew I could rely on in a pinch. Ginger deeply cares for those around her, for her community, and is passionate and committed to the causes she believes in. She would be a valuable addition to the St. Lawrence County Legislature and I encourage you to vote for Ginger in November."
