"As a former student of Ginger’s, I can recall her laying out clear classroom expectations and holding us to them. And not just turning in homework or following instructions but treating everyone around us with respect. She went beyond her obligations as a teacher to ensure we developed both as students and as people. Twenty years later Ginger continues to go beyond her obligations to give back to her community. She has a strong internal drive that keeps her working to make every place she’s a part of better, and this undoubtedly would include District 7 in her role as County Legislature. "
