Organizational Endorsements

Unions are important to me.  I served as union president in honor of my grandfather's success at starting a railroad union in the 1930s.  I  am proud to receive these endorsements.

Megan Hughes, President of the Colton-Pierrepont Teachers' Association:

"As President of the Colton-Pierrepont Teachers Association and Ginger's longtime co-teacher, I am proud to endorse her for St. Lawrence County Legislator. Having worked alongside Ginger, I know she is the same principled leader in the classroom as she is on the campaign trail.

Every morning, following the Pledge of Allegiance, Ginger would ask our second graders why they were thankful to be Americans, teaching them to cherish our public schools, freedom of speech, and the Constitution. That dedication, combined with her proven track record of securing results as a former Union President, makes her a tireless champion for the values St. Lawrence County needs.

Ginger is a bridge builder who treats every constituent like a neighbor, and I am not alone in this conviction; the CPTA has officially voted to endorse Ginger, standing united in our belief that she is the right choice to represent the people of District 7."

Jefferson, Lewis, St. Lawrence Counties Central Trades and Labor Council (AFL-CIO affiliated) Endorsement

I am honored to have received the unanimous endorsement of the Jefferson, Lewis, St. Lawrence Counties Central Trades and Labor Council. As a retired NYSUT member, I am well aware of the benefits that union membership brings to all workers. As a Legislator, I will work hard to make life better for all workers in St. Lawrence County.
