WHY I'M RUNNING

  • To help my neighbors struggling to make ends meet. (Today: I'd call for a local gas tax holiday to help at the pump)
  • To help Medicaid recipients who’ll be slammed by the program cuts slated for after
  • November’s election where possible.
  • To bring fairness to all reaches of our county: Hearing how Bob Ashton in Piercefield died after being told he lived “too far away” to receive home health care and how Piercefield feels forgotten impacted my decision to run.
  • To encourage infrastructure that is resilient in the face of extreme weather, a needbrought to focus with storms like Hurricane Debbie.
  • To support and promote essential services. As a teacher for 37 years and a mom who adopted from the foster care system, I am keenly aware of the importance of whatservices mean to individuals and families.
